Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales (MKTG.LIVE)

We’re looking for a hungry and driven salesperson to sell partnership opportunities for MKTG.LIVE – the blockbuster new exhibition for digital marketing, advertising and martech.



Held annually in Sydney, MKTG.LIVE is the blockbuster free-to-attend conference and expo that brings together 5,000+ leaders and practitioners from the intersecting roles of technology, marketing and digital innovation to create the definitive event for modern marketing and customer experience. The event provides a platform for all kinds of marketing professionals – from all sectors – to connect, learn and explore the tools, technologies and services needed to survive and thrive in a rapidly changing world of digital media, marketing and advertising.


MKTG.LIVE will open it’s doors in March 2023 and between now and then, we have an entire exhibition floor to fill with global and local tech vendors and digital marketing agencies. To achieve this, we need a capable, self-motivated sales hunter to support our commercial director in bringing this event to life.   

This role is focused on new business acquisition so you’ll be responsible for identifying and bringing on new partners (exhibitors and sponsors) for the inaugural event and building upon its success in the following years.

The role:

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Generate interest through social platforms
  • Drive business via cold calling, networking and social selling
  • Win back previous clients and lapsed accounts
  • Working with clients to create a bespoke package to fit their needs
  • Accurately record information and interactions within Salesforce CRM.
  • Travel interstate from time to time visiting clients and industry trade events
  • Be onsite during your event building relationships with clients and renewing business



  • Experience in B2B selling environment
  • Solid understanding of sales strategies and selling process
  • Strong cold calling and written communication skills
  • Ability to research and “hunt” for new prospects using Linkedin, Google and social media
  • Fearless, not intimidated communicating with top executives
  • Know-how, drive, and passion for developing new business
  • Ability to work independently and take constructive feedback
  • Smart and a quick learner who is comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, entrepreneurial environment
